We started by power washing with a cleaning product to remove mold, algae and dust formed over the years. Later, we tackled the carpentry and made sure all rotten wood were replaced and primed. After, we started the painting preparation, closing gaps, cracks, sanding, priming before applying 2 coats of oil painting (we recommend oil for longevity).
